项目要求：设计一款适用于体育场的数字装置娱乐系统
task: to design a form of digital entertainments for stadium sport events
设计策略：
在传媒技术无比发达的今天，前往体育场实地观看比赛的意义可能不仅在于赛事本身，更在于和其他观众之间的情感互动，共同体验赛事带来的喜怒哀乐。心跳云装置的设计正是着眼于此。通过收集观众的反应，这个装置把每个人的情绪反馈在一个具象的视觉表达之中，实现由观众自己创造的沉浸式体验。
装置由彩色灯光带、声感器组成。彩色灯光带悬挂在座椅上方体育场现有的建筑结构上。通过程度预设，灯光的色彩及明暗将与声音输入相关，对现场声音做出及时回应。比如，在比赛进行中当观众中有人爆发出欢呼声的时候，这一片区的观众席头顶上的灯光主题就会相应发生变化，把激动的心情通过跳动的色彩传递向在场其他观众。置身于比赛现如同于置身于所有观众共同的情绪之中，每个人都成为这场视觉现象的参与者。这是在手机或电视转播中无法获取的体验。
approach and objectives:
One of the key satisfaction about visiting a stadium is to see other people, to experience the collective emotion from them, and know that we are not alone. We share the same feelings, frustrations, and excitements towards the team and the game. This project aims to enhance the stadium experience by bringing the audience’s excitements into a large-scale visual presentation that allows everyone to experience.
Lighting sculpture composed of programmable LED strips or bulbs are installed above the audience seating area, utilizing the existing stadium structure. The colors of the lighting sculpture are programmed to be responsive to sound. When a sound breaks out in the crowd, variations of color themes will be displayed at the location of the sound, signifying the inner emotion of the viewer. Heat Cloud is a visual artwork where everyone becomes the author and the observer.
