设计策略：
艺术与建筑的历史是一部过往故事不断重复上演的历史，“遗迹“在这些浪潮里似乎有着特殊的位置。在对过去的追念、幻想中，人们得以暂时从图像的浪漫化表达之中获得快感以及对原初形式的想象。

这个项目试图搭建一个脱离于特定时代或地域的图像。建筑物外部由类似于岩石的巨型体块构成，可它们却有着平整垂直的立面。在建筑物内部，纯粹的平面几何图形经过翻转、连接、延伸，使空间透露出时隐时现、捉摸不定的数学品质。没有人知道这座庞然大物在何时、被何人建造。

approach and objectives:
Ruins are a vehicle to create a romanticizing mood of the past; ruins are also means of reviving the original concept of space.

This project builds the mystery of hydroelectric machinery into an attempt of creating an image that is context- and time-less. The autonomous character of Euclidean geometries signifies an order that is a priori, yet through the rotation, blurring, extruding of the basic geometries, the space becomes unreadable in terms of its origin.
