设计策略:
在这一个水坝故事中,设计的过程围绕机器的形式以及功能展开。最终成果是一座超级能源产生器:形式上,本次设计尝试构建从最厚重到最轻盈元素的逐渐过渡,以减弱两种尺度的遥远独立之感;功能上,这座水坝集合了水利、太阳能板、集中太阳能三种能源采集形式,它们或厚重或碎小的组成构件也成为这座能源机器庞大身体的一部分。
approach and objectives:
A hydroelectric dam typically comprises two contrasting elements: the heavy, massive block that defenses the dam’s body against water, and the light, linear structure that serves the electrical power transmission. This scheme attempts to amplify the scale change from the very big to the very small. The project further combines three different ways of energy-generating into one super structure, making the complex a living machine from both the outlook and the function inside.
